Thats a good questions.

I still like what Gase did with Tannehill back in 2016 before Tanny got hurt.

However after seeing what Tannehill is doing in Tennessee, we may have to discredit Gase

Darnold has talent but he's a victim of a shitbag organization that has no structure or base. The owner is inept, GMs have been awful and coaching has been bad. So to answer your question it's Gase. Long time Jet fan sufferer.

Darnold will flourish with a team like the Saints or any other that has their shit together.

Can’t wait for the saints to get Darnold next year

Gotta go with Gase. Man I thought he was going to be great with Miami, especially after that first year.

The answer is Gase sucks. The case for Gase?

Look at what Ryan Tannehill has done since leaving Gase and the Dolphins. That's enough evidence for me.

I'll reserve final judgement on Darnold once he plays on a real NFL team with a real NFL head coach.

Coming out of college , I had Darnold pegged as a poor mans Jay Cutler.. Nothing has changed for me with my original observation.

I blame the media for hyping Darnold to a level far greater than he deserved. I watched him in the PAC12 and he was as overrated as, it seems, every QB in that league from him and Rosen to Marriotta, Leinart, Barkley, Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, Ryan Leaf, etc, etc, etc.

I'd like to see a current breakdown of current QB1's from the NFL and what conference they came from. It wouldn't take long to look. Maybe 5 minutes research.

But I would guess it's pretty spread out amongst conferences. Plenty of busts everywhere too.
